Today. that clutchness continued for the Melkster as he hit a 2-run HR in the Bottom of the 8th to help the Yankees win 8-6. Mark Teixeira, also came up clutch, when the Yankees were down 5-1 in the 5th, with the bases loaded, no outs and he cleared the bases with a double down the left field line. Chien Ming Wang started good but in the 3rd and 4th innings, he really struggled. He was wild those 2 innings, but was on a strict pitch count so he couldn't get through the 5th inning. Johnny Damon led off the game with a HR to get the Yankees a 1-0 lead. Texas came through with some cheaply hits and walks and crawled to a 5-1 lead. Then, Tex came through with his hit. For the Yankees, it was their 19th come from behind win of the season. The Yankees win the series 2 games to 1 and now will host Tampa starting tommorow with David Price, the Rays top pitching prospect, vs the Yankee Ace CC Sabathia.
